An initial appointment will be offered. This is an introductory meeting, lasting about 50 minutes, providing an opportunity to meet the therapist and decide if you can work together and begin to share and explore current difficulties and concerns. You will be charged for this session, but it carries no obligation to continue. It also offers the opportunity to jointly assess whether therapy or counselling may be useful at this time; or whether some other form of help would be more appropriate.
We meet for 50 minutes each week. The full duration of a counselling relationship can vary, depending on what you choose to bring to sessions and whether you find therapy useful for you. You should expect to come for at least 6-8 sessions to really feel the benefit in your life and get beneath the surface of your issues.
Day- or evening-time appointments are available from 9am until 9pm Mon-Fri, or 9am-3pm Saturdays.
We charge Between €50 – €80 euro per session for one to one therapy, €80 – €100 for relationship/couples and Family / more than 2 people is €40 per person is. Payment is by cash or cheque.
We do provide a sliding scale for those that are on low income. Everyone is provided for.
